Demo mode uses simple pattern matching, so it is instant and needs no download. Real AI mode runs a small open-source language model entirely in your browser: Qwen3.5 (0.8B) on your graphics chip on computers with WebGPU, or Qwen3 (0.6B) on your processor on phones and everywhere else. Your messages never leave your device, the model has no internet access, and no third-party AI service is involved. Small models make mistakes; a production system would use a larger model with stronger safeguards.
