Who we are

This website is run by Edlan, an AI consultancy based in the United Kingdom. If you have any question about this notice or your personal information, email [email protected].

What we collect

  • Enquiries. If you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to write.
  • Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting keeps standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working.
  • Access codes. Our invitation-only pages record the IP address and browser of each sign-in attempt, to protect them from misuse.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

We use your enquiry only to reply to you and, if we go on to work together, to run that work. Emails to [email protected] are first read by an AI agent that runs on our own server. It summarises the message for the team and sends you an automatic acknowledgement. Your message is not sent to any third-party AI service, and a person reads every genuine enquiry.

Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: responding to people who contact us, and keeping the website secure.

The AI demo

The AI demo runs entirely inside your browser. Nothing you type into it is sent to us or to anyone else. The model files are stored in your browser’s cache so the demo loads faster next time. You can clear them at any time through your browser settings.

Cookies

The public pages set no cookies. The invitation-only pages set a strictly necessary cookie to remember that you have entered a valid access code.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or share your information for marketing. Our website and email are hosted by Hostinger, which processes data on our behalf as our hosting provider. We may also share information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with your request and any work that follows, and then delete them. Server logs are kept for a limited period by our hosting provider.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
